Seton Hall (Big East) Broadcast Intern [South Orange, NJ]

Seton Hall University, a member of the BIG EAST Conference, invites applications for the position of Athletics Digital Media & Broadcasting Internship. The position also includes coverage for Pirate sporting events, including men’s basketball contests held at the 18,500-seat Prudential Center.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in all facets of video production and live athletic broadcasts. Specific duties include, coordinate live and on-demand video content hosted at SHUPirates.com, create feature and promotional videos, produce High Definition broadcasts with the NewTek Tricaster 850 Extreme, operate HD cameras, manage social media platforms, serve as on-air talent for the Pirate Sports Network and have other tasks assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Digital Media & Communications.
Interns receive 3.0 credit hours per semester, if program of study allows. This is an unpaid position.
Qualifications: Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in intercollegiate digital media, experience with video production, experience in desktop publishing with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, experience in video editing with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier and After Effects, and strong broadcasting skills.
