--------------------------FIRST OPEN POSITION--------------------------
The Western Athletic Conference is accepting applications for the exempt position of Executive Producer of the WAC Digital Network.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Schedule all live and produced content to be streamed on the digital network
- Crew all championship live stream productions, oversee all WAC studio shows, create original content, and service all other video needs of the Conference website
- Support all championship and tournament events as Producer and/or On-Air Talent
- Create all production formats, graphics lists, and commercial reels for Conference produced live streams
- Work closely with WAC departments to develop story ideas - Manage WAC production budget
- Act as liaison between Conference office and school production departments
- Build relationships with equipment vendors, web streaming services, and live production crews in order to keep the conference on the cutting edge of technology
- Responsible for QC on all network content produced at the Conference office
- Set minimum standards for schools: how many cameras, suggested crew per show, how many announcers, etc.)
- Assist the senior management team with a creative and strategic Digital Network presence
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of five years live production experience
Master’s degree and experience in collegiate sports is preferred
Video editing and live game production experience is required
Experience with broadcast production equipment (Ross, Tricaster) is preferred
Experience in social media communication and desktop publishing a plus
Strong writing and computer skills
Ability to work independently on a variety of time-sensitive projects; weekend hours, travel and evening work will be a component of the position

The Western Athletic Conference is accepting applications for the position of Coordinator of Digital Network & Media Services.
General Responsibilities:
The Coordinator of Digital Network & Media Services is responsible for providing support in the areas of media relations and the WAC digital network. This position will be responsible for assisting the coordination of content creation, creating promotional/highlight video packages, editing, and serving as a videographer, editor, and on-air talent for the WAC studio show and on-site sideline report for the WAC Digital Network at select championships. Additionally, this position will also assist with all aspects of publicizing the Conference through all media platforms. Specific duties include writing press releases, compiling statistics and reporting results to media, maintaining record books, serving as an on-site media relations contact, and working directly with several assigned sports including men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s track and field. This candidate will also handle advance preparation for digital and communications related conference calls and meetings. This position will also assist staff members in the administration of selected conference activities and special projects.
Desired Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree required with a major in communications, journalism, or a related field required, Masters preferred
• Strong working knowledge of, and demonstrated interest in, intercollegiate athletics
• A minimum of 1-3 years of increasing responsibility and practical experience in media relations and multi-media productions, including video production and on-air experience, preferably at the Division I collegiate level
• Must be able to work independently and in a team setting to efficiently meet established goals and deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite Applications, and ENG cameras
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a detailed manner
