Assistant Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations
Start Date: Early January, 2017
Job Description: Serve as the assistant to the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations, assisting in daily tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, daily game notes & lineup cards, stat packs, contributing to monthly game day program, writing game stories, conducting interviews, creating video content, and more. You will perform play-by-play for the middle three innings of all home games. Additionally, the position includes hosting the pre and post game shows for all 140 games, while also producing the 70 road games from the studio of the flagship radio station.
Desired Experience: Successful applicant will have on-air play by play experience. Applicant should be outgoing, hard-working, organized, a self motivator and ready for a very long but exciting season with work almost every day. A good knowledge of Photoshop / graphic design & experience with composing video projects is desired as well.
Compensation: Hourly, with plenty of hours
