Position Summary
The On-Air Talent/Video Editor Seasonal Assistant will provide valuable insights into the inner workings of a professional sports franchise. This assignment is from July 27, 2015 through January 26, 2016. This position is located at the Atlanta Falcons Headquarters in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Candidates must be able to contribute 40 hours per week and be available on nights, weekends and attendance at all home games.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a member of the Digital Media team for the 2015 season, the On-Air Talent/Video Editor Seasonal Assistant will assist in production with the Video Services Department; film and edit day-to-day videos for AtlantaFalcons.com and the Marketing Department; develop motion graphics for production; support Digital Media team on game days at the Georgia Dome and online during away games; prepare and upload multi-media content (photos, videos, etc.) for distribution on Atlanta Falcons web properties; and additional responsibilities as required by the Digital Media team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Recent college graduated in Telecommunications and/or Film.
Possess a high level of interest in working in a fast-paced, sports-centered environment.
Must have at least one (1) year related work or volunteer experience.
Required Skills
Video production skills a must.
Advanced Post Production Skills and Motion Graphics strongly desired.
Be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects/Motion, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Mac IOS operating system.
Basic HTML knowledge.
Maintain exceptional written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels.
Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Demonstrate leadership skills, maturity and professionalism.
