Broadcasting & Social Media Associate - Erie SeaWolves (Erie, PA)
The Erie SeaWolves, the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, are looking for a confident, dedicated student who is interested in earning credit hours by completing a seasonal learning opportunity in broadcasting, social media, publications, and media relations.
The Broadcasting & Social Media Associate will be mentored by the Assistant General Manager of Communications and learn about content development for broadcasts, team publications and social media channels. The associate will gain radio play-by-play and color commentary experience under the supervision of the Assistant General Manager. The associate also will have the opportunity to interact with local media personalities and participate in department planning meetings.
Applicant must be outgoing, energetic and eager to learn. This internship will begin on May 16, 2017. Schedule flexibility is available during the first few weeks of the fall semester. All college majors are welcome to apply.
HOURS
Minor League Baseball can be fun and rewarding career path, but it requires dedication and flexibility as event schedules dictate the team's hours of operation.
May 16-August 31, 2017:
Game Days: Report time until one hour after the game.
Non-Game Days: 9:00a until 3:00p (Monday-Friday); flexible hours are available.
*Some exceptions may apply; schedule subject to change
COMPENSATION
$700/month stipend (prorated for partial months)
