High School Cube (www.HighSchoolCube.com) is a rapidly growing venture backed social media company dedicated to capturing the most memorable events in a high school student’s life - LIVE. We are expanding sports coverage and seeking live event play-by-play sports announcers to support our fall coverage line-up. These are paid-per-event freelance opportunities. Announcers will provide play-by-play description of live action being streamed on High School Cube. On-air experience and a demo link are required, and the ability to announce multiple sports is a plus. Ideal candidates should: -Be knowledgeable in sports, thrive in a fast paced environment and be eager to work games that are most frequently played on Friday nights, but also include some Saturdays/Weekdays and are subject to state playoff schedules; -Be excellent communicators with leadership experience in customer relations and team management. We’re looking for organized problem solvers with a keen attention to detail. -A degree in broadcasting, journalism, communications, or related field is highly preferred but smart, motivated and experienced individuals willing to learn, willing to lead by example and willing to run through walls for the rest of the team is preferred even more. College broadcasting students and recent grads looking to be a part of something special are strongly encouraged to apply today.
