Broadcaster - Media Manager - Sales Rep - Gwinnett Gladiators (Duluth, GA)
The Gwinnett Gladiators are in search of a Team Broadcaster/Media Manager/Sales Rep to begin immediately. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Play-by-play radio broadcaster for all Gladiators games (preseason, regular season and playoffs).
Content development, pre-production and coordination of all broadcast elements.
Manage the Gladiators broadcast network relationships
Set-up, operation and maintenance of live broadcast equipment
Assist in all media relationships, including distribution of audio clips, distribution of video highlights after each game, and regular correspondences and promotional partnerships.
Oversee radio production of all games and ancillary shows (e.g., Saturday Night Caps)
Knowledge and aptitude for social media, including Facebook, Twitter and blogging
Contribute editorial content to gwinnettgladiators.com
Serve as a key ambassador for the organization with active participation in community relations programs, charitable foundation initiatives and fan development, including public speaking and personal appearances
Production of graphics for ribbon board and video board elements
Video editing for social media, website and in game elements.
Manage off-ice officials
Content management and production of game notes for media
Technical liaison and inventory management of Arena Video control room servers.
Write team press releases
Manage team youtube channel
League related duties
Contribute in sales as time permits
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of one year hockey broadcasting experience
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in producing, editing and distributing audio and video clips and use of audio and video editing software
• Must be a self-starter with excellent work ethic and the ability to work on deadline and handle multiple tasks while demonstrating organizational skills and displaying an attention to detail
• Must have the ability to work independently as well as in groups and as part of a team
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
